Photo courtesy Honda PasadenaThroughout September, the SoCal Honda Dealers are spreading Random Acts of Helpfulness to local Schools and Fire stations across the region, Fire Station 37 & Washington Middle School in Pasadena!The Helpful Honda guys raised a total of 41,000 school supplies for deserving schools as part of SoCal Hondaâ€™s first-ever School Supply Drive in each local dealership, and are delivering lunch to over (50) fire stations to say “thank you” for keeping SoCal safe all month long.The Guys in Blue visited hardworking firefighters at Fire Station 37 (3430 E. Foothill Blvd.) on Friday, September 12th, to show their appreciation with complimentary sandwiches, salads, cookies and drinks, in usual helpful spirit. â€œYou guys in blue made us all feel very appreciated today,â€ said a fireman at Station 37 and another jokingly recognized the Guys in Blue from the commercials with a request of his own, â€œI need you guys to come to my house and help me paint pleaseâ€¦just kidding!â€Staff and children of Washington Middle School (1505 N Marengo Ave.) were also visited by the Helpful Honda Guys on Friday, September 5th, to help start their school year right. The Guys in Blue delivered a variety of school supplies raised by Honda of Pasadena to Principal Dr. Stewart.Why? Helping those who make a difference is one more way the Helpful Honda Guys are spreading random acts of helpfulness in the community. This summer, SoCal Honda sent out a Free Ice Cream Truck to delight kids of all ages with free ice cream, and dispatched its Big, Blue Tanker Truck to surprise loyal Honda drivers with complimentary gas during busy summer travel. Other Random Acts of Helpfulness include helping residents load groceries; picking up litter at parks, beaches and shopping plazas; giving thrill-seekers complimentary parking at Magic Mountain, and Dodgers fans upgraded seats and tickets to upcoming games! Al Orolfo, vice chair of the Boracay InterAgency Rehabilitation Group, which is the management arm of the BIATF, saidthat they are hoping that Duterte would make his pronouncement soon. Thepresident is expected to visit the famed-island on March 12. The BIATF is composed of differentgovernment agencies such as the Department of Interior and Local Government,Department of Public Works and Highways, Tourism Infrastructure and EnterpriseZone Authority, Department of Tourism, Department of Social Welfare andDevelopment, Department of Labor, Bureau of Immigration, among others./PN KALIBO, Aklan – The Boracay Inter AgencyTask Force (BIATF) is hoping that President Rodrigo Duterte will soon make adecision to whether the group will continue the rehabilitation of theworld-famous island. “We will follow the orders ofPresident Duterte,” Orolfo said. Two years ago, President Duterte signedthe Executive Order No. 53 to “reverse the degradation of Boracay” Island,’ tostrictly enforce national laws and local ordinances and to implement andoversee policies as the duties of the BIATF. Personnel of the Boracay Inter Agency Task Force conduct a meeting with other government agencies of the province in Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan on March 5. Tackled during the meeting were updates on the accomplishments of the different agencies in the world-class island. PDEA REGION VI-WESTERN VISAYAS Under the EO, the task force will bedissolved after two years from May 8, 2018, unless it will be extended byPresident Duterte upon the recommendation of his cabinet. It is also up to himto transfer to the local government units of Malay, Aklan the full autonomy tomanage Boracay Island if the task force will no longer be needed.

The Spokesperson of the Ghana Football Association( GFA), Ibrahim Sannie Daara has described the Tamale Stadium as the cleanest Stadium compared to the three remaining stadia in the country ahead of the Black Stars Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Guinea.The Black Stars will host the Syli Nationale in the Northern regional capital for the first time since the edifice was constructed in 2007 and was used for AFCON 2008 The team received a rousing welcome from the locals and Ghana FA spokesman Ibrahim Sannie Daara has been impressed by the facility despite the floodlights refusal to illuminate last night during the team’s first training session.“One observation I have made is that Tamale is Ghana’s best stadium at the moment.If you look at the facilities at the stadium and how they keep maintaining the structure is very good and everything is in perfect shape.“I learnt they keep cleaning all the seats every week and so everything is very neat. The scoreboard is working in shape and the pitch is also lush green, I would say they have really looked after the facility very well.”He added.Meanwhile, the Black Stars will train for the last time on Tuesday @ 3pm whiles their Guinean counterparts will also have a feel of the pitch just ahead of the showdown which kick starts @ 4pm on Wednesday
