moe. And Railroad Earth To Hit The Road Together This Summer

first_imgThis August, moe. and Railroad Earth will appear together for a run of shows presented by Live For Live Muisc. The nine-show run will take the longtime live jam favorites through the Northeast and the Midwest, stopping in Papillion, NE; Peoria, IL; St. Louis, MO; West Lafayette, IN; Grand Rapids, MI; Hampton Beach, NH; East Providence, RI; and Mt. Pocono, PA before finishing with a tour-closing celebration at Atlantic City, NJ’s Boardwalk Hall. The run of dates is sure to produce innumerable highlights, as the two bands make for a potently complementary pairing. Says guitarist Al Schnier, “Railroad Earth are kindred spirits to moe. in many ways. The diversity of their music, along with their eclectic approach sets them apart from other Americana rock bands. [Their organic sound] makes a great compliment to our more “electrified” approach. Although we get to play events together from time to time (like Summer Camp & moe.down), it’s been several years since we toured together.”Adds moe. drummer Vinnie Amico, “I am looking forward to our summer tour with Railroad Earth. It is always fun to go on tour with a great band to give the fans a great show and to collaborate with such great musicians, and hang out with our old friends.”You can get excited for moe. and Railroad Earth’s summer run with footage of the backstage pop-up jam featuring members of both bands from last weekend’s Summer Camp Music Festival below:Tickets for moe. and Railroad Earth’s joint summer run are on sale now.
